Knade has started production on Sister Carrie, a feature film that he is co-producing and shooting (cinematographer). It’s the third film of a trilogy; the previous film was put on the “10 Best Films of 2016” list by The New York Times, was described as the “most original film made in Chicago about Chicago to date” by the Chicago Sun-Times, and was named the “best film made in Chicago in 2016” by The Chicago Reader. It screened and won awards at a dozen film festivals and was picked up for international distribution.
A short film Knade produced and shot, Heath Takes a Trip, was just released and has already been named an Official Selection at film festivals in Hollywood, Austin, Santa Monica, Minneapolis, San Jose and Chicago.
