Biggest Loser Eight-Week Fitness Challenge

What is the BIGGEST LOSER Challenge?

The Shannon Center’s BIGGEST LOSER Challenge is an eight-week fitness challenge designed to help participants:

1. Lose weight

2. Make healthy lifestyle change

3. Have fun & get fit

4. Maintain weight loss

Participants will do an initial weigh-in at the Shannon Center at the beginning of the BIGGEST LOSER challenge followed by weekly weigh-ins that are done at home and will be recorded online. The final weigh-in will take place at the Shannon Center and will also be recorded online. Additional information will also be provided to participants on the Shannon Center’s BIGGEST LOSER website, just go to keyword:  Biggest Loser.

Who will be the BIGGEST LOSER?
» The BIGGEST LOSER will be determined by the greatest percentage of body weight lost at the end of the eight-week challenge.
» The top five participants with the greatest percentage of body weight lost will be named.


The winners will receive cash prizes:
» 1st place winner receives $200
» 2nd place winner receives $150
» 3rd place winner receives $100
» 4th and 5th place winners receive $50

Weigh in: Monday, January 27 – Friday, January 31
6:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.
11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

SXU Faculty and Staff: $25
SXU Alumni/Shannon Center Members: $25
Community-Family and Friends: $30
