“The House I Live In” – The U.S. Drug War, Incarceration, and Race

The SXU community is invited to a viewing of the documentary film “The House I Live In” from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Thurs., Sept. 26 in L341 in the Warde Academic Center. From the dealer to the narcotics officer, the inmate to the federal judge, this penetrating look inside America’s criminal justice system reveals the profound human rights implications of U.S. drug policy.

Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Criminal Justice Professor Javier Perez will speak directly following the screening.
