Prof. Abdul Wazwaz publishes papers on solitary waves theory

Department of Mathematics Professor Abdul Wazwaz, Ph.D., published a second set of ten papers. A total of nine solo authored papers and one co-authored paper were published in a variety of well-known professional journals of applied mathematics, physics, and computational methods and engineering. The works were published in the following journals: “Zeitschrift für Naturforschung A”; “Physica Scripta”; “Communications in Nonlinear Science and Numerical Simulation”; “Mathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences”; “Ocean Engineering”; and “Central European of Engineering.”

In solitary waves theory, the multiple soliton solutions and multiple kink solutions were formally derived for a variety of nonlinear equations that describe the propagation of waves in shallow medium and the dispersive long water-wave system. In computational methods, the singular Lane-Emden equations with a variety of shape factors were investigated and new results were achieved. In mathematical physics, the Broer-Kaup-Kupershmidt equations describing nonlinear and dispersive long gravity waves were handles to make further progress in this area.
