Nominations sought for Provost’s Fellowship

Provost Angela Durante invites all faculty members to identify potential applicants for the Provost’s Fellowship for 2013-14. The fellowship awards a $500 stipend to a junior-level student to support a fellowship project, such as research or an artistic production. This year we hope to award one fellowship in each of three areas:

  • Science (including natural, social science, math, computer science, etc.)
  • Humanities
  • Professions (including education, nursing and business)

The names of the nominees for the Provost’s Fellowship must be submitted in writing to the Office of Academic Affairs no later than Fri., Feb. 22.

You are encouraged to consider students at the junior level who are performing with distinction and who will benefit from the kind of scholastic opportunity that the Provost’s Fellowship provides.
