Don’t miss the SXU Spring Job Fair! This is your opportunity to meet with employers from a variety of organizations. The Job Fair is scheduled from noon to 3 p.m. on Wed., Feb. 13 in the Shannon Center. It is free and open to the public.
Employers will recruit for full-time, part-time, and intern positions. Attendees are advised to dress professionally and bring plenty of resumes. This changes weekly, so be sure to check often!
Not sure what to expect at a job fair? Then come to one of the “Navigating the SXU Job Fair” workshops to learn networking skills, interview techniques, and how to make the best first impression specifically designed for interacting at a job fair.
Workshops will be held in the Career Services Modular Unit behind Pacelli Hall on the following days: Noon on Fri., Feb. 8, 2 p.m. on Mon., Feb. 11, and 3 p.m. on Tues., Feb. 12. Each workshop will last about 45 minutes. Registration is not required and workshops are open to the public.
Do you need a quick review of your resume before the Job Fair? Resume walk-in hours are every Monday and Wednesday (during the semester) from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Career Services Modular Unit behind Pacelli Hall. This service is only available for SXU students and alumni.
