School of Education Prof. Eileen Quinn Knight, Ph.D., along with SXU alumna Phyllis Cavallone, MA, recently gave a weeklong workshop to Archdiocese of Chicago teachers at Saint Therese Chinese Catholic School in Chinatown. The workshop included information about number theory, geometry, fractions, decimals and percentages, probability and statistics, and word problem solving. This is a collaborative effort on the part of SXU and the Archdiocese to assist in improving math scores.
