Faculty and staff invited to participate in annual New Student Induction

Ceremony scheduled for noon on Fri., Aug. 24

The Division of Student Affairs cordially invites all Saint Xavier University faculty and staff to participate in the ninth annual New Student Induction at noon on Fri., Aug. 24 in the Shannon Center.

All new students are invited to the induction ceremony. This year, the New Student Induction is part of “First-Day for First-Years,” a day-long series of academic and social events designed to welcome our new first-year students.

Faculty and staff are invited to don regalia and participate in the processional through the Smith-Morris Quad. All faculty and staff who plan to process may RSVP and submit a regalia order online. Regalia orders must be placed by Wed., July 18 to ensure timely delivery. Questions regarding regalia orders should be directed to Debbie Nutley at (773) 298-3945 or nutley@sxu.edu.

Lineup for faculty and staff is at 11:20 a.m. in the hallway directly west of the Butler Reception Room. The procession will begin promptly at 11:40 a.m. The rain location for lineup is the Shannon Center Recreational Gym.
