SXU and Palmer College of Chiropractic sign 3+3 articulation agreement

Saint Xavier University President Christine M. Wiseman, J.D., recently signed an articulation agreement with Palmer College of Chiropractic (PCC) that will allow SXU biology majors to more easily transition to pursuing Doctor of Chiropractic degrees at PCC.

The 3+3 agreement allows qualified students to enroll in a six-year dual degree program leading to a Bachelor of Science in Biology degree from SXU and a Doctor of Chiropractic from PCC. Students must remain in good academic standing and earn 90 hours of credit that meets prerequisite requirements during their three years at SXU to be admitted to PCC. The program will be active starting in the 2011-12 fall semester.

Located in Davenport, Iowa, PCC was established in 1897 by chiropractic founder Daniel David Palmer.

“Saint Xavier University is proud to partner with Palmer College of Chiropractic, the first institution of its kind, to offer our students this exciting educational opportunity,” said SXU Pre-Health Professional Committee Chair Tatiana Tatum Parker.
