SXU’s Eileen Quinn Knight presented on financial literacy at Rock Valley College

On Friday, April 21, Saint Xavier University (SXU) School of Education (SOE) Professor Eileen Quinn Knight, Ph.D., gave a presentation to the Northern Illinois Association of Teachers of Mathematics (NIATM) at Rock Valley College in Rockford, Ill. The presentation was on financial literacy, which was attended by 15 professors from around the area.

SXU psychology student and professor present at Midwestern Psychological Association Conference

Saint Xavier University (SXU) psychology major Marilee Cervantes-Bautista and Professor Angela Pirlott recently presented their research at the Midwestern Psychological Association Conference. The duo presented a poster entitled, “Understanding LGB Men and Women’s Fear-Based Prejudices of Other LGB Groups.” Additionally, Professor Pirlott presented her research entitled “Not all Negative: Friendship Interest Predict Heterosexuals’ Positivity toward Some LGB Groups.”
